Subject, Verb, Complement and Modifier

The subject in a sentence or clause is the person or thing doing, performing, or controlling the action of the verb. Every sentence requires a subject and a verb to be complete. Without a subject, we would have an action being done by no one or nothing simply happening on its own, which cannot happen.

Verb or a verb in a sentence is used to identify or explain the behavior of the offender (subject in the sentence) or explain the events and circumstances.

Complement  is one of the elements that form sentences or words -said used to complete the meaning of the verb (verb) in a sentence by pointing at the subject or direct object.
In English, Complement (complementary) is divided into two (2) types, namely:

1.  Subjective Complement (Supplementary subject) is a type of complementary use to supplement the subject in a sentence. Example : The noodle tasted delicious.

2.  Objective Complement (Complement Object) is a type of complementary use to supplement object in a sentence. Example : I painted my room blue.
